martin john mccafferty , 17.02.2003 , 39 , motherwell , martin was survived by his mother , father , & brother , he passed away with an epileptic seisure , due to an old head injury in childhood wich left him with epilepsy , i (donna) was martin's wife at the time of death unfortunatly there was no children involved in our 7 yrs of marriage , 17 months after martins death his mother (sadie) passed away on 17.06.04 with cancer , also his brother (brian) passed away on 28.07.06 with diabetes & his father michael passed away on 14.04.07 with a massive heart attack ( a broken heart as his whole family was took away in such a short space of time) they were a family raised in a town called wishaw (pather) (sadie cogan- mccafferty) originally from craigneuk in wishaw & his father (michael mccafferty) originally from hamilton. this memoriam is not only for martin but for the 4 of them R.I.P for the McCAFFERTY'S

A Birthday In Heaven - Author Unknown
I heard you crying yesterday,
And felt your heart-sent love.
So I’m sending you this message
Now, from Heaven up above.
You’re wondering if I’ll celebrate
My birthday (way up here).
I know you’re missing me today
I feel your essence near.
God planned a special day for me,
He told me with a wink.
He’d ordered me a special cake
(It’s Angel food, I think).
Balloons will fill the streets for me,
They float up through the clouds.
And we have lots of friends up here
That make us laugh out loud.
There is a birthday carousel,
Jewelled horses ride the wind,
With music playing, oh so sweet…
The magic never ends.
I’ve made so many friends, you see
We laugh and play and sing.
We ride our bikes and play the fool
And sleep in Angel’s wings.
But we don’t blow out our candles here
Instead, they light the skies.
I didn't know martin although I knew of him through his brother Bru who was my brother Ian Whalley's best mate. It's heart breaking that the whole family passed away so close together and such a huge shock that Bru had gone, sadly I didn't manage to make his funeral. they were a lovely family. May they all rest in peace and God bless each and everyone of them.
